Halloween spookiness has begun at Taltopia! The first thing you might notice is the return of our spooky logo and some spooky member uploads! Check them out here and here.

1) Remember you have the ability to create and feature contests! Let's see some spooky Halloween theme inspired ones!

Flickr Importer and Taltopia Mature

Hi All!

Just wanted to drop in with a quick announcement about two new features on the site:

You can now import all your images from flickr! Just be sure you are logged in a and follow the link below or just choose the option on our upload page.

Also, we now accept mature content!

In the past, we reluctantly asked members with great mature art to remove it from the site...but no more! Now just tag your media as mature when you upload and you can keep your mature art up on the site. Obviously this needs to be tasteful art (no porn!) and follow our Terms of Service. So enjoy these new features and let us know your thoughts.

Keepin' it Weird - Taltopia Style

Sxsw Austin 2010! Wooooo! Austin had shut down it's famous 6th street to prepare for bands and their screaming fans. There was music at every venue...and by venue we mean every place you could fit a drum set and some speakers - Pita Pit included!

This year there was a huge turnout, just look at the army bags prepared for the convention below.
Once we arrived we were quick to set up our Taltopia booth, and get ready for the week of craziness to come.

So we gave the list a quick rundown:

3,000 Taltopia Pitch Cards - Check
1,500 Taltopia T-shirts - Check
Realizing we had to give those out or bring them back home - Check

We don't look worried...do we?

We're happy to report that we gave out all of our shirts to people that stopped by the booth with an interest in what we did. All-in-all a successful trip.

New Feature: Premium Comments

We just made a small, but noticeable change to the site to help all of our Premium members stand out a bit more. Any time a Premium member posts a comment anywhere on the site it will show up in a highlighted yellow box, making it stand out a lot more. Just another benefit of being a Premium member!

New Feature: Rotate Images

You asked for it, and now you got it - the ability to rotate uploaded images!

Sometimes when you upload an image file to Taltopia, the orientation could be off. You would have to delete the file, fix the orientation on your computer, and re-upload the image...pretty annoying. Now you can rotate uploaded images with the click of a button.

Look for these arrows underneath media you have uploaded to start rotating today. Enjoy!
